How to use MSI exclusive EZ Conn-connector and cable

Today, we would like to introduce the exclusive EZ Conn-Design of MSI EZ DIY features, which provide an effortless DIY process. EZ Conn. means easy connect, and it reduces the cable management between the motherboard and ARGB cooling components of the PC build.
There are two types of EZ Conn-connector on MSI 800 series motherboards – JAF_1 & JAF_2.
The JAF_1 is a 7-pin connector that integrates the system fan header and 12V ARGB header into one connector. You can connect the MPG EZ120 ARGB fans with the JAF_1 directly or connect to another ARGB fan via the 1-to-2 EZ Conn-cable, reducing the cable routing effort of ARGB fan connection.
The JAF_2 includes more pins for more function. Its 11-pin connector integrates a system fan, 5V ARGB headers, and a front USB 2.0 header. It’s a future-proof design, ready for the next-gen MPG Coreliquid P series liquid cooler and also compatible with the MPG EZ120 ARGB fan. There’s a 1-to-3 EZ Conn-cable in the motherboard with JAF_2 package to support devices such as the MPG Coreliquid D series liquid cooler, ARGB fan, or external ARGB fan hub that require USB signal communication.
